Looks like they may be the latest causality. They laid off all employees today.

More and more layoffs and closings everywhere. Most of the companies that I deal with are slowing down. Doom and gloom seems to be on the horizon.
There's a method to the madness, disturb the method and the madness begins.

Employees loosing jobs is always very sad and long time success companies closing their doors isn't good for our field of interest either. It's a lot easier to close down and walk away than to EVER get a new viable company going again.

So true. Chinook tried it 3 times - and failed again.

They have been sold (twice) but this time it looks like they will re-open with new owners in the same plant. I doubt existing warranties will be honored.
