flourescent light

Unread postby Big Rig Guy on Sat Nov 29, 2008 10:12 am

One of my lights over the kitchen sink stopped working, so I changed the bulbs and I guess the ballast bit the dust. I have the Thinlites throughout the trailer, and I have never really liked them. I phoned and ordered a Grote model, same as the thinlite, but made in Canada. Anyone else have a problem with their Thinlites ???????

61.00 for the Grote model, about 14 inches long and 5 inches wide with two bulbs/tubes inside.

I thought they were a little pricey too. They feel like they are better built than the Thinlite's. Time will tell.

Our last 5th wheel had Thinlites and we never had an issue in the 4 years we owned it. Our Paradise Pointe has recessed halogen lights throughout it.
