First 5th wheel

Unread postby Smchen44 on Thu Sep 17, 2015 12:30 pm

Greetings to everyone

Just bought our first 5th wheel, 2002 Franklin ranch 40'. We're renovating it...essentially gutted insides and will install laminate flooring and paneling.
Planning on retiring in 4-6 years, early retirement, and RV full time. I've been camping since I was a little girl, now the tender age of 51 LOL. Even lived 6 months in a truck camper with 2 kids under the ages of 10 so I know what's involved. A little worried for my hubby, a city boy, who only camped twice, I think, in his life.
Hoping to spend time in Mexico as well as the states. We're Canadians and had enough of the cold albertan winters.
Anyways, just thought I'd introduce myself :)
