How do you use your solar panel if you have one?

In the past when I had my TT I would place it over the jack on the front. It worked ok but now I have the FW I am wondering where to put it. I was thinking of lying it on top of the slide but but did not know if the wind would blow it off. Then I was thinking I would put it up on the roof but do not know how to keep it there. Not big on putting holes in my 2010 FW. Any ideas would be much appreciated Thanks In Advance.

Never having had or used a solar panel while RVing (however, at work, my group uses and maintains over 40,000 of them on gas wells throughout the country!), I don't think that putting it on the top of the slide would be wise - one day you may forget it is there and run the slide in with some expensive results!

Not sure how larger the solar panel is, but if it's small enough, perhaps use velco to temporary fasten it to the front of the 5th wheel while you're camping. Of course, if it's a larger model, that may not work.
