I posted this on a cast iron users site.

Here is an cooking pot with a difference. It is the only one of its kind I know.

I put a couple of 'lifters' on the bottom of the pot, 1 litre water, unsalted-butter, then my 4.25 kg turkey, olive oil on all skin surfaces, then a folded light weight cookie tray,.....

For stuffing I used the Acadian quickie formula: an apple, an orange (2 clementines), & an onion.

2.5 hours in house stove oven and YUMMMMMMMY.
