Want to clean brakes on a 2006 FR Surveyor TT model SV210

Unread postby Barry2 on Sun May 01, 2016 9:46 am

Hi to all...need help with cleaning brakes on a 2006 FR Surveyor model SV210. Do I have to remove the grease cap, wheel nut (with cotter pin), bearing, and then the whole unit, or should the brake drum come off without removing all the above.
After removing the wheel I tried hitting the drum with a rubber hammer to loosen it, but it would not budge. That is when I became unsure if I had to remove the whole hub or just the brake drum. What do I do next???
I am new to Travel Trailering and only started using this type of forum after I bought my TT. I have found it extremely helpful
and now I am totally dependant on it and could not be happier!!! Please continue helping.
Thanks... Barry
