2000 frontier 26ft HELP!!!

Unread postby no.so.happy.camper on Tue Jul 07, 2015 11:05 pm

Hello gang! Im new on this world of rv, I just got a 2000 frontier, no manuals at all, the battery was toast, looks like was freeze and explode, so I put an older battery, connect the trailer to my truck so I can tow the trailer to home, the exterior lights work, all of them, but the electric jack don't work, and the most concerning is that the slide room don't slide!,
do I need to have a working battery for the slide to work, or should to work when I plug the towing attachment to the truck, im so confused, please help!!!!

Good chance you do need a good battery to operate the slide.

The slide does run off the coach batteries and so will draw from them first.
