Any other Jayco Owners??

Unread postby ralphthedog on Sun Mar 23, 2008 9:11 pm

Hello all. We recently pulled the trigger on a 2008 Jayco 28BHS, loaded to the gills including Fall Promo Package, blah blah blah. I don't have pics yet, but will post when I get them.

The dealer is actually going to remove the double bottom bunk, and make it into a single. They are also going to put another shirt closet type ward on the floor, with a counter top, to be used as a nightstand. Very excited.

This trailer will replace our 2002 Salem 22BH. Needed more room now that the kids are getting older....

Nice! I had a 2005 JayFlight 28RLS - it was a super trailer. You'll love it :)

I'm one, at least until I sell it or trade it when my new Rockwood comes in!

We've actaually had two Jayco's. First a big pop-up, then the 21J HTT. We would have upgraded to another Jayco if they had any floorplans that interested us, but unfortunately (fo them) they didn't!

They build a quility product, and stand behind it, so you should be happy with it!

Good luck with the new rig!

Thanks for the comments. We pick it up April 26th, so hopefully I will get some pics, and add them to the picture thread.

Fire Instructor, we actually had it narrowed down to a Rockwood 2601SS vs the Jayco. It was a tough decision, they are both really nice trailers. Congrats on your new rig!!

Thanks

Just joined the forum today.

We've got a 2008 30BHDS and love it! Have seen some odd issues with the water heater not igniting (or event attempting) on gas, and have seen this replicated on 2 other Jayco units on the same road in our campground. I suspect it's related to humidity, but haven't been able to narrow it down.
