Unknown programs I found on my PC

Unread postby Dog Father on Mon Jan 21, 2013 12:58 pm

Consumer Input & Iniment were two programs, that seem to come along for the ride when I downloaded something. Is it
best to uninstall them? That's what I did. I keep am eye on programs using programs and Features in Control Panel. I
have noticed they keep growing. There are several more, that somehow got in there. I can tell by the date. I guess you
have to be careful about downloading anything.

Is it best to uninstall there programs? Here are a couple more: Wild Tangent Games, Trusted ID, Snap Add on.

I would go to the Control Panel and see if you can try to uninstall them - or do a restore of your system to a point before you downloaded.

You might want to download AdAware or CC-Cleaner (both free) and run them to do a clean up on your PC.

Whwn you download/install a program, be very careful not to check any boxes that will install other stuff - default toolbars and search engines are a couple of common ones.
