Full Timers to be- Someday

Unread postby suicidetuna on Fri May 13, 2016 10:18 pm

Hi to all of you from the 4 of us in So. Cal

We are Charlie, Barb, Roxy (the dog) and Pasha (the cat). We Started camping in a large 10 person tent but Barb began having back issues so we bought a pop up. Loved it! As we got older, Barb's bladder got smaller LOL and we needed something with a bathroom so we bought our first Class C "Ophelia". She was beautiful but she too got to old. After selling her we bought our current 2006 32ft. Fleetwood Jamboree 31M. "Elloesty" L for short. Our plan is to one day be able to travel our great country searching for the perfect piece of land to call home base. In the meantime, we enjoy traveling to the Pacific Northwest once a year and taking weekend trips discovering new places.

Charlie has an obsession with upgrades on the Jeep and RV, Barb seems to have an obsession with filming those upgrades and keeps her fingers crossed she catches those "oh,Damn" moments. ie. Charlie getting a shower after dumping the tanks Hahaaahaaha

We look forward to advise, possible criticism, laughing with and being laughed at from members.

Charlie and Barb OR Barb and Charlie :)

Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like your experience is much the same as a lot of us.
Moving from tent camping into RV's is the route a lot of us have taken.

We have a Fleetwood as well (an oldie but a goodie) and have travelled all across Canada and the western half of the United States. Spent many winters in Southern California around Hemet and even a couple times in Arizona

We full timed for 10 years and now we have a home base in British Columbia.

Hope all your travels are safe.
