New & looking for idea's

Unread postby ToddP on Sun May 02, 2010 9:13 pm

Hi everyone my name is Todd From Fort Mcmurray Alberta.
I am looking for some advice on my 1st purchase of a Class c MotorHome.
Here is a what i am looking for.
I am looking for a Basic or ecomomy line of motorhome. We will be traveling with our Huskies so i will not need anything to fancy and expensive. No need for leather couches and all the other goodies i have been looking at. This would cool to have but cost is also a factor for us.
Any suggestions on a barnd that makes a basic style of rv?
Thanks

Welcome! :)

I don't have a class C (I tow a TT), so I really can't offer much of an opinion, but there are several on the board that do have Class C's. I'm sure they'll pipe in soon.
Patrick.

Just wondering if the price of any rig might be less $ in a province on either side of you. Before the big economic down-turn we did here how any kind of rv was way way high in Alberta compared to the reset of the world.

That is a good point. Something for me to look into for sure.
Thanks for the Tip. :)

You might try Craigslist. It took us a while, like several months, but we found what we wanted at a price we could afford. Lizzy
