Have you all heard about N. American bats dying in the thousands in eastern N. America? https://www.google.ca/#q=bats+and+white+syndrome+disease choose your own article.

Have you all been told of any possible ways for the average person to help save the bats?

We've had it suggested by biologists on talk shows to buy bat boxes or bat shelters that may help them overwinter in places other than caves.

& our forums elsewhere, lots of campers are complaining about the numbers of mosquitos, noseeums, etc.

Bats are good for sure. They do control mosquito and bug populations, even though they have a reputation (although not deserved) of their own.

We have stayed in a campground in Cranbrook, BC where the owner puts on a show every evening in the summer explaining the batty world.

We found it really interesting.

If you are in the area the campground was Ft. Steele Camprground & RV Park.

Check them out here........FORT STEELE CAMPGROUND
