Woodall's "age restriction???

Unread postby jemek on Tue Mar 17, 2009 8:17 pm

We are looking for a camp ground to stay at during out family reunion. In or near Pinetop, AZ.

In the Woodall's directory many of them state "age restrictions may apply" So is that a nice way to say no children allowed???

It COULD mean nobody under 55 allowed or could mean No Kids Allowed. Best to call the campground and ASK what the restrictions are if they're not detailed in the book. for MY money though whichever it is, it's not NICE in any way.
Good luck / skip

Heck the camper is a young pup...still a greenhorn compared to some of you guys.
It is just entering season 3, the toddler years.

That's the same age as my Zinger, but I'm a senior and won't look for a old age park. ;)

Not to open a can of worms or anything, but for me, I wouldn't want to stay in any campground that wouldn't allow children. Children are the next generation, and having them around can be a lot of fun.
For me, I'm looking forward to camping with my grand-kids (don't have any yet....).
Just my two cents.

That is how I feel. I grew up camping and I actually have fond memories of meeting "seniors" and the great stories they told around our campfire. The fishing tips they would share with us, etc. I loved camping with my Grandparents.

I love kids and I love taking mine camping...someday I will be taking grand kids camping.

CG operators have to be stunned bunnies not to be able to add 1+1+1= life

1= children
2= adults of working age
3= those on their 3rd career, the fount of wisdom, the ones to pass on to the gkids what the gkids won't learn from their parents.

Since the beginning of time tis been thus.
