This could become an option for those using other RVing forums when they're not available or having problems but right now it's a lot like talking to yourself (been known to do that sometimes

To those who straggle in, however you found us, welcome.

As is probably pretty clear to most people by now the place is pretty vacant. We just went online "officially" mere days ago, and of course a new forum doesn't jump to life all by itself.

So, please take a moment to invite others if you feel that you would be interested in making this place a second home perhaps.

Thanks!

It doesn't much matter where people come from. It's nice to have different areas. This also shouldn't be just thought of as a place to go when others are offline, it'll get it's own community soon enough and could very well be peoples first stop.

The same questions I've found are posted on a lot of the other forums, but info is info, so the more the better!

I've been trying to get on the RV.NET all morning but have actually gotten on two or three times but it doesn't STAY up long enough to actually read much of anything or post anything. it has become a very frustrating site.

You're right Zinger, Either you get booted or they move your thread to a different location after it has received several replies and been going for a couple of days. No sense everyone walking on tip toes afraid they may say something wrong.

Aint that the truth, I got a very threatening PM the other day for being a vocal critic of forum problems. I have had about enough of that nonsense.

I can understand monitoring whats going on but I think the thread police over there move some topics that are perfectly fine I dont know weather it is a power trip or what? I am sure when it gets that busy you do have to police more or it would be more chaotic than it is.

I figured that she was going to blame you for the name...I'm sure it has to be your fault PP. A while back one of the TV networks showed what you were sleeping on when you stayed at a hotel. They showed some of the best hotels, so price does not matter. You need to get a copy of the documentary and then give her permissions to change her name on this site to "RatherbRVin". Good luck on your trips this year.

Well we're a week and a few days old now and membership is doing quite well. We SEEM to be kind of heavy in the travel trailer category though. No Motorhomes of any kind, no 5th wheels (that I know of) no pop ups or hybrids or truck campers. Those guys just don't know what they're missing LOL.

I wonder wat the percentage breakdown of all types of RVs owned is I would think travel trailers must be the most owned.

I have a 5er Skip! Does that make me the founding father of 5er members!

I think you are probably correct. Just seem to be more TT's out there than FW's

Seems to be a few more 5th wheels in the Midwest. Just from a uneducated observation though because I've never counted them. Probably depends on where you camp. No doubt there are more SMALL travel trailer than small 5th wheels but probably reversed for larger units. Who knows? :D

I am sure the parts of the country where fulltimers flock the number of 5ers and Class A is higher it probably is a geographical thing to some degree.
