Coast to Coast

Unread postby Frank Henn on Wed Dec 24, 2008 2:12 am

This past week end we were invited to a campground in La. This outfit just took over this campground and is going thru it really nice. at this time they have five other RV resorts three of which are with in 150 miles of us. Janet and I have mainly been into State Parks.. If we join this out fit we get to stay in their resorts free for 14 days, and than we would have to take seven days off. However we could go to another one of their campgrounds for another 14 days. This also would allow us to use the Coast to Coast group at 10.00 a night. Does any one have any thing good or bad to say about this

I have no experience with this group but after considering offers like this one I determined that it did not fit well with my style of camping. Only you can decide if it works for you. Good luck with your choice.

Probably OK if you enjoy staying at that type (or maybe that SPECIFIC) place and if the cost doesn't scare you off. For what it's worth, if you check Ebay you can usually find about a half dozen Coast to Coast memberships for sale, often for a few cents on the dollar. Might be worth looking at to see of there's a real bargain out there for you.

We belong to CRA and love it. I'm not a huge fan of state campgrounds, most I have been to are rowdy to say the least.
To each his own, but I enjoy the gated and rules enforced style of camping. 8-)
