What type of Rv is best for Mexico

Unread postby nahidik on Tue Aug 23, 2016 1:49 pm

Hi,

I am looking for a little advice here. We are thinking about spending a few months RVing in Mexico this winter. We are from the west coast of Canada. There is just my wife and I so we don't need a huge unit. We were thinking 30-35' motor-home. We could always go for a pull behind trailer of fifth wheel if it makes more sense. Can anyone give their thoughts about what type of RV would be best suited for the Mexican roads, fuel, etc.
Would love to hear from anyone with experience in Mexico.

Hi and welcome.
We are from the west coast as well. or close to it. Okanagan to be exact.
We travel in a 36' motor home and tow a Pontiac Sunfire behind it and have done so for years.

Depending on where you go in Mexico we feel this is the way to go. You have the benefit of enough room for an extended trip and when you are touring you have the benefit of a compact car to do it in.

Have a great time.
