Even though the first day of spring is to early for us to go camping.....it gives us a little hope for what's to come.

So far we have 4 weekends, 3 weddings, and 4 other weekends with friends planned. We can hardly wait.

We usually don't start till mid April. With Easter being April 20 this year, looks like we may be camping on Easter weekend for the first time. That changes my "clean the camper" routine. Usually, Good Friday is my wash/wax day. I'll deal with it. Now if this darn white stuff would go away.

Our next one will have smooth sides too. Much easier to wash.

I switched from a JayFlight TT (aluminium sides) to a smooth sided 5er. Much easier to clean! :)

Sprng? What's that? Still snowing here... big storm last night.

10 - 15 cm expected tonight.

Hoping I don't have to pay to have the driveway done, but can blast out myself.

Sprng????

March 17, St. Paddy's Day, or, maybe March 21, official spring equinox.

But drat it all, Mar 9 is Daylight Savings Time. or DARK mornings vs. dark evenings. UGH.

It's Saturday night and I'm in for the night. I've set my watch to DST.

Being in Canada I shall find the mornings awfully dark for about 3 weeks.

But I've started gathering material for trip ideas - you know, going to several provinces online to ask for travel guides and provincial maps.

Not impossible. Too early to say.

Ok, like to put my paws and my eyes on a nice readable history of each province from Manitoba west. I know of www.abebooks.com, sub of Amazon, which sometimes has used books for very reasonable prices, too, besides ye olde interlibrary loan access route.
