I've been a member there for four years now, if you are buying a lot of stuff or expensive things its well worth the money to be a member. I know we have saved a lot.

We join whenever the savings on the purchase would be greater than the cost of the President's Club membership. We than take advantage of it for a year, let it expire and do the same thing next time. :P

I keep my membership up to date, even though the closest one is 75 mile drive one way. Or of course I can go on line. But once a year we get friends together and make a day of it. Almost as much fun as Camping...almost. My partner waste WAY more than the annual membership fee on Cigarettes a weekly basis so it's no big deal. And if I see something we need ...want, I have a good price to start comparing to.

We are currently a member of the presidents club, only because of the saving on one order the saving made the order cheaper on price, and at the time free shipping. I check camping world with their shipping cost and than the local dealers. 95 percent of the time when you add the cost of shipping in and taxes, the local boys are less costly.

We keep ours up and use it from time to time. We have a local RV store that has better pricing and is much better to deal with. Now camping world is an official RV dealer so I wonder if the discount will apply to RV purchases?

They are impossible to deal with so don't think even 10% would make a difference on a new RV purchase. I use them only for things I can't get somewhere else.

My thoughts exactly. Most folks can negotiate between 20% and 30% off MSRP with out joining anything and it seems like 10% discount would just be an excuse to hold to that figure. We gave Camping World a CHANCE to deal with us in Elkhart Indiana and they chose not to so we purchased from RV Direct instead.

When we bought our 1st rv in Jan, we needed all kinds of things. We bought a few from our dealer( who has now been bought out by CW!), some things from Walmart, and the other rv specific things from CW. Purchased the membership for $20, got Good Sam for $10, and 2 CW $10 coupons. Like others have said, I got my monies worth and more on first trip. Only about 10 miles away and another about 45 away.

What I don't like it I get the online specials 3 or 4 times per week from CW but with major shipping charges, not so good. But the store won't match same prices as online! But I did get the blackline remover from the store about a week after it was online for the same price, no shipping but state sales tax---boo.

Still looking for an online rv supply source with free shipping like Amazon does with decent prices. I found on generators that most end up costing about the same when adding in price, shipping, taxes, etc.

I was a member when they had a store in Clarksville Indiana. However when that closed I let the membership lapse. I definately shopped there more when they had a local presence.
