First Trip of the season!

Unread postby ponyboy1995 on Sun Apr 13, 2008 11:47 pm

We took our first weekend trip of the season and had a blast! We went with 2 other couples.
This is our first time camping with other families that have thier own campers. It was great because we all had children of the same age and one family had 2 older siblings that were able to lead the younger ones around and keep and eye on them as well. The kids couldn't get enough! This was the first time my 5yr old really went out on his own (without us) while camping. He loved exploring with the other kids and never came back clean or dry so we know he had fun!
The weather was ok, it rained friday night and early sat. It was just nice to get out! We will probably be doing more camping trips with our camping buddies!
Just wanted to share our fun!

When our kids got older we used to almost DRAG them camping with us and NOW they talk about those times as some of the best they can remember from their childhood. Go figure...or better yet, go camping :D
