Harrah’s Casinos and RV’s

If Harrah’s gets the green light from the state of Kansas, Harrah’s along with a few other developers plan on building a 1 Billion Dollar destination casino. The planned RV park next to the golf course is beautiful (on paper), easy in/easy out. Were not much on gambling, but walking from the MH to the golf course and driving a few balls sounds like fun.

I think we are going to see more and more of this kind of thing. Us RVer's are a huge vacation bunch and they want our $$$ as much as the campgrounds do. I like it! Not that I would ever go gamble but if they made a nice CG I'd go for sure. 8-)

It's about time that more places are waking up to RV'ers. We have two major theme parks within a few hours drive of us (Canada's Wonderland at about 45 minutes, and 6-Flags Darien Lake at about 2.5 hours) and we go to Darien Lake more often then Wonderland simply because we can take the trailer there and make a weekend out of it, instead of a day trip.

We go a couple of times a year to one of the local casinos. Very nice RV park with shuttles that run on a regular schedule to/from the RV park and Casino. Very good food, very reasonable rates and we may drop $10.00 in one of the $.05 one arm bandits.
