Your first outing

Just wondering where everybody's first outing will be I think our hours will be a trip to Québec with the Explorer club just wondering if anybody else is going there.

What a difference a year makes. Last year our first night out was April 17th (The night our beloved mutt passed away). This year we've got nothing but snow. Woke up Thursday morning to 8" on the driveway. The forecast this weekend is for another 8". This is the winter that just keeps on giving. Our first trip will likely be on May long at Drumheller. That's if it ever quits snowing around here.

Crappy there too, huh? Fortunately for you, rain doesn't have to be shoveled.

If the weather stays like it is here, I hope we can "dock" the RV next weekend.

Our longest break between trips was from Oct 2010 to end of Jan 2011, when we went down to Pism Beach. We just went to Fort Bragg, CA last week for second trip. Planning longer trip to Boise and southern Utah parks in kate May.

Well I've had 2 dry run going down to Ontario, OR so far but not really camping per say but grocery shopping. It was great to use the RV so you can get some serious shopping done and not have to hurry home.

But our first camping trip is coming soon very very soon... (Droolin'). Most likely going to southern Idaho where its warmer in the desert area... :D
