motion activated lights

Unread postby mikhen on Mon Feb 14, 2011 8:33 am

On my to do list this spring was to add 3 way switching in the camper. Now that the battery powered, motion activated LED lights are so readily available, I will probably just pick up a few of them. Camping World has some nice ones for about $40 a 2 pack. A little steep for me. I've found others on Ebay. Does anyone have any and do they work ok? I'm looking for just enough light to walk through without walking into anything.

On edit...I just found these at Camping World, which I can still get cheaper on Ebay. ... nsor/38371

I have motion activated lights on my home. I loathe, detest, hate, consider them totally useless. They go to dim when you most want them bright. So, be careful, quadruply careful to pic timers , etc. that are really what you want.
