RV Show

Unread postby mikhen on Mon Jan 03, 2011 9:57 pm

Goin to the Allentown, Pa RV show this weekend then Camping World in NJ. Gonna be fun this year. Taking my wife's aunt and uncle who just bought a pop up and need to stock it.
Guess it's cabin fever, but I'm pumped up for it. And seeing the RV in the driveway uncovered doesn't help. Anyone else use these shows as a relief?

Oh definitely!
I'll be in Toronto on the last weekend in January, and just so happens their annual winter RV show is that weekend.
Can you guess where I'll be on the Saturday afternoon ? :)
Patrick.

Hey Mike.

How was the RV Show at Allentown, Pa ?

I'm heading to Toronto this weekend, and will be at the RV Show on Saturday.
These RV Shows help break up the winter. ;)

It was good. Prices were great. Nice way to break up the winter. It was snowing outside so it wasn't crowded at all. Almost like walking around a campground. Nothing new as far as features goes. But it was fun. Just wish they had more camping items at these shows.

The RV Show in Toronto this weekend was great! Lots of different types of RV's to see. Spent about 4 hours walking around drooling at all the nice fifth wheels. ;)
My only disappointment was there wasn't much in terms of accessories for sale. There were some, but not like usual.
i did get though several packs of led lighting for my current trailer.
Overall, great day!
Unfortunately I return home tomorrow without a new fiver in tow........

I spent 3 1/2 hours at the Toronto Show Saturday afternoon with friends. Good crowd & talking to the dealer from whom I bought my trailer, it was a good show to that point from a sales point of view. I was hoping for more accessories on sale but the one parts store confirmed that the pricing in Canada is terrible. If the prices were reasonably close, I will spend my money at home but for the most part they were not even close.

Since we bought our 5er just before Christmas we were interested in doing some comparisons with similar models & slightly higher end models. We came away pleased with our choice & the deal we got. I was not impressed with some of the high end 5ers for the $$$. Besides that who needs a fireplace in the bedroom of their trailer??!!

The one thing the show really did for my wife & I was make us anxious for winter to end so we can pick up our new "Palace" & start camping in it!
