Busy weekends

Unread postby mikhen on Mon Sep 20, 2010 6:00 pm

Boy this year seemed busier than most. We didn't get a whole lot of weekend trips in, but that was planned. Big trip after Tday this year to Disney. Just seems like every weekend we are running doing something for us or someone.
This year will be our first ever late trip.

Question... would you winterize around Halloween, our last weekend trip, then unwinterize for the Disney trip, then rewinterize after our return the 2nd week of December? We usually have our last trip October and close/winterize after that.

We use ours all year and I don't use the pink stuff. I drain the tanks and blow the line out with the air comp. A little pink stuff for the traps only.

It does not take long (about 20 min. or so) and have never had a problem.
Just my 2 cents, but better safe than sorry. :D

Me too....I use compressed air (having a 60g tank of compressed air makes it easy.....).

I would recommend that you at least clear the lines out after Halloween (I usually store my trailer after the Canadian Thanksgiving). Of course you'll have to clear out the water lines again before you leave Florida (or when you get close to the cold).
