Did everyone have a great September long weekend ?

Hope that everyone got out and had a great time :D

We had a quite park this weekend, a bit cold and windy but good family fun.
Nice and close to home so no big traffic to deal with.

Where did you go ?

We had a great weekend. Headed down to Waterloo NY and stayed at Cheerful Valley Campground (just off State Route 14, north of Highway 90).
Spent the Saturday shopping for 'back to school' stuff for the kids. Sunday we took off to Bass Pro.....that was cool!

We were close to your place this past weekend. Friends of ours had a B-day party and we "camped" in their yard.

Spent it in the Plattsburgh, NY area, camping at Ausable River CG. Went to a wedding on Saturday, visited some local wineries on Sunday, and did some kayaking yesterday before pulling the TT home.

Nice 3 nighter up in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Left to come home yesterday at 10am. Just as the big fire started up a little to the north of the park, to the west of Boulder.

Made it home and didn't even know there was fire until we parked the 5er in the pasture and looked back at the mountains to see all the smoke.

My prayers go out to all those who have lost their homes.

Wife had to work all weekend. Kids went away Saturday so I got the house to myself for most of my birthday. Wife got home and I had supper ready. Shouldn't that have been the other way around?
