Tire Cracks

Unread postby mikhen on Thu Mar 18, 2010 11:09 am

How bad can they be and still be safe?
We take our C in for yearly state inspection next week. The tires have cracks in them, from what I can tell, mostly on the surface. When we looked at it and did our PDI last year, the dealer had the tires painted black, I'm guessing with tire black or some other tire stuff. After the "paint" wore off, I noticed the cracks and contacted the dealer. The told me that they are still good enough to pass inspection. That was last year. I'm hoping they pass this year. They look they same as last year. We will see.
