I thought about it, but unfortunately it's supposed to go down to -10 tonight. Batteries and propane would suffer, not to mention the house batteries.

A few more weeks of waiting, unfortunately.

Nothing wrong with a shake down cruise in the back yard to find any bugs in the RV. Had some friends a few years ago that bought a new fiver. I tried to talk them into going somewhere local for a few nights before they left on a long trip to Calif. Well, they took off to Calif for a month. Had a bathroom water leak. Forgot or didn't have a lot of things. Long story short, they had a lousy time, sold fiver, sold TV, and no longer camp.

Good luck tonight.

Damn, Zinger! I would have thought that living on that hill would be considered "camping" 24/7/365! Want me to send Ranger Joe an email and have him check on you? Zinger lives in the hills just north of me, and he's camping tonight... I'm a flatlander, and I'm thinking that tomorrow may be a good day to take the winter cover off....

You don't have WiFi and a laptop?

You can go hang out in the RV and surf. Best of both worlds. :-)

I swell the short queen is more comfortable than the dinette in the last camper .
The kids slept well.
At about 11pm the wife decided she would stay out too she said this morn she was cold i think the factory thermostat has a large temp swing will replace with new digital. I work for a heating contractor so that wont be a problem andreasonably priced too.

So overall we will keep it.

If you pop the cover off the stock thermostat you'll find that many have an adjustment for the swing - yours may as well.. You can narrow it down significantly to help the situation.

Many are set pretty wide by default to minimize warm up and cool down loss of efficiency from the furnace. When set with a large swing they wait longer to come on, but then run longer and more efficiently for the duration.

Glad you had fun. I was over at our TT today checking on things and wishing I was spending the weekend, instead of 20 minutes.
