Golden Age Passport

Unread postby mountainman on Thu Dec 03, 2009 1:53 pm

This came from another site:
The government is proposing to reduce the discount provided to seniors and disabled citizens from 50% to 10% at federal parks.

Go to this site and submit your comment but please be polite and respectful in doing so. You may also contact your state elected officials and let them know your opinion of this proposed change.

Here is the link to the official notice. http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009/E9-28744.htm

Here is a direct link to the comment page for this document (for use after you have read the proposal).

With campgrounds these days being booked up months in advance, it's no surprise. After all, they are "doing us a favor" by letting us stay at all! :x

Doger, I don't know your location
or what parks you visit but I can tell you the USFS parks in this country get very little use during the week days which is the only time we visit them.

You certainly have a strange view from my perspective!
Oh well to each his own.
