Where will you go to post and read when this website is gone? Kind of a sad thought. I really dont want anything to do with the big one, too stuffy over there hopefully one of you us will take over this site its kind of a comfortable place .
Thank you Private Pilot for the site and the oppourtunity to be a moderator. Best of luck in future endevors.

I go over to Rv Net, been over there for years but don't post a whole lot. Most threads end up in shambles and gets tiring very fast.

I have a month off right now, as I am moving my shop and I decided to put the whole thing in a 53 foot trailer for storage and restart up Sept 1. I have been surfing the net and there ain't a whole lot of interesting rv sites, trying to find good blogs too.

I am sitting here right now, the trailer is already to go, have to do a oil and filter on the truck, but waiting for a email on a Northern Ontario property that I may buy. You know what, I am going to start a thread on that whole topic.

I will miss it here compared to the other place this feels like home. When I started over there it was quite inforamative, now it's a couple of people trying to get an argument going. I;m not much on starting a post but like to get involved in them with others.

Hey guys, I appreciate the sentiment but it was never my goal to monetize the forum. It's by no means the costs that have made the decision to shutter the place, it's simply the fact that I've never believed in letting a forum "stagnate". It takes advertising, a lot of effort, a dedicated base of users (we've got that!) and a little luck to get a forum to be successful, and given my lack of time (short of the last week or so) and the lack of a few of the aforementioned key ingredients, a decision had to be made.

We'll see what happens, it's not dead yet. ;)

I guess I will still visit the other place, though it does seem like every thread dissolves into a bitter disagreement. Really, really hate to see this place close up shop!
