Truck bed ladder

This looks cool....I've been thinking to get one or not. I do know it's a pain to get up in the pan of my truck as I'm not that tall. ;)

I saw this at Canadian Tire and am tempted to get a 2nd one.

That way one could say in the house and one in the camper. It folds and is rated for 300 lb. Takes less space and IMHO is more adaptable than that which you found Pat.

Definitely a much cheaper option. I have a similar one, and one time when getting down, it moved.....wasn't pretty.....

Could've been a disaster too. Be very wary of these, and similar items. It was from something similar that I fell last June, and severed my Achilles Tendon. 7 months later and still going through rehab. Walking OK now, but still painful and can't walk for long distances.

I find it very hard to see how you could fall from a ladder as sturdy as that little one I put up.

There are more flimsy versions around, but NOT that one. I repeat it's rated for 300 lbs.

8-)

Compare rungs and what your foot has to step on.

Well I did!

How much it can carry is irrelevant if you lose you balance! Gravity doesn't care  :(

There's a chevy commercial a few years ago that made fun of the 'man step'. But being a chevy guy....I think it's a cool idea.
Kudos to Ford for coming up with it. ;)

shhh....don't tell any of my chevy friends I said that.
