Post your favorite boondocking pictures.

Ok, after yet another (heated) debate on the whole WalMart/boondock camping topic recently again, I thought it was time to talk boondocking.

So, for those of us who do it (and aren't ashamed to admit it!) share your pictures of your boondocking experiences - the everyday ones, and your favorites.

Here was our absolutely favorite boondock location which we found out west this summer in Vantage Washington.

Very apt shots PP.

I'm glad we share the same idea of boondocking., down in the boondocks, off pavement.

This is in Labrador, in an area with a very nice breeze, off the Trans Labrador Highway, coastal road, not that far from Mary's Harbour. It is an inukshuk.

& these inukshuks were made on the river side of the highway going down the St. Lawrence in Gaspe. I camped where there was a road off the highway, barely non-goldfish bowl site.

Don't get me wrong, we WalMart (and in this case, Superstore it) as well. :-)

IMO, not so humble here either, boondocking is 'in the country'. Wally Docking ain't in the country. It's urban parking and considerably less fun than camping.

In town is not camping. End of story.

I go camping rving or no.

& yes, I know the debate goes on, but my dogs can't be outside in an urban parking lot.

Alot of times we will head out on a Thursday night about 730 pm and arrive close to the campground and overnite at the local Walmart. This works out well, as it is easier to setup in the daytime rather than late at night. We do our shopping at Walmart in the morning.
There's a method to the madness, disturb the method and the madness begins.

I don't consider "walmarting it" camping either, I consider it "overnighting on the way to the destination", which is usually a CG.

No worries, we're not one of those people you'll find with the awning out and the carpet, chairs, lanterns and such spread around in the Wallymart parking lot - we just stop there when paying for a CG is useless for a short stop.

I have been known to use it, as you say, when parking to sleep was very much needed.

But it's just parking. I do not have any pics of me 'parking'.

That looks nice! I could spent some time camping next to the beach. :)
