The amount of blocking for the stabilizers would be too much for me.

I have been right beside a very similar rig.

I spotted it one lunch hour a few years ago. I managed to park next to it and sat there waiting for the owners to come out of the mall. They had taken an 18' straight truck body and got the box modified to make their own truck camper. They said it hadn't cost that much more than one of the TC brands, say Arctic Fox. & that would have been for tc only. They had truck and tc all in one unit.

I gave them some ideas of areas I had gone to and places I couldn't get what with 2wd only.

& I still regret that I didn't have a camera with me.

:)
& I, I took the road less travelled by

It does have an element of 'cool' to it. ;)
