Terry,

Like I do in all forums, I only post when there is a serious question. I never use it as a social forum.

I will miss this one if it does go away.

I'll miss it too, if it goes. But I have other places I spend a lot of time on too (not all of it on the "other" forum either). Most of y'all are over there, I think. Just not much for me to discuss right now.

Hope your camping is seriously fun, Terry! :)

Pwall when you get a second see if you can set forum up so when a person posts their name stays with post. You posted a great joke and now my name is there. Also see if you can set forum up when we ans. in a post you can back your way to the forum instead of returning to topic then back to forum. Hope you don't mind the suggestion but this works better on other forums.

cwit, I find your wording confusing. Could you maybe post some screen captures, please.

I go into reading mode via active topics. In the list I see

- left side the topic title in upper line & the thread starter's name and date topic started in the 2nd line.
- right side name of poster and date of latest post.

I find the above quite clear.

The only thing I find nice at another site is in the listing where all you see is the section heading and the time and date of the last post, plus the title of the last topic answered. & you can click on that topic.

For those who review and read using the section headings, that would be great.

ps. while I've seen N.Am. sites use that software, that specific example is from downunder. They just moved into Oct 8 at time of posting.

Hey there, I checked on this suggestion and this forum does not have an option to do this, so I then checked on the company's website to see if I could get an addin to do it and there was nothing.

Only way to add it is to program it myself but the prob is, I'm not a programmer. I can do some stuff but not all. I have friends that are programmers and are good php programmer. I'll see what he can dig out.

Did you 'speak' with Derek, site owner. He does a lot on that site himself. & it is "HIS SITE", yes in caps. But I know he's gotten advice from techies from time to time.

I think Derek is the owner of the site from which LK gave you the screenshot - however, I have looked at all the posts in this topic and I am at a loss to see where she says the site is! I think maybe you are both at cross purposes. LK is referring to another forum and you are refering to this one?

Well,it is entirely possible that I told PWall, in a pm, that the site is: http://www.aussiecampovenforum.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl and that the owner is Derek, only Derek!!!

I have a strong memory of keying out that message. How about a pm the next time you find something you don't quite get, please!
