New Rving in Mexico forum

New postby beddows on Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:12 pm

There is a new forum specifically for RV'ing in Mexico (and Central America). It is up in a temporary fashion until later this spring, but you can register & post.

It will address the following:

General discussions
Travel companions section
A section to request southbound travelers to deliver needed RV parts
Information from RV park operators on rates & availability
French language section for Quebecer's
Alerts

plus more

http://www.mexicorvforums.com

I am looking for moderators & a French Language admin. Moderators should have Mexican RV'ing experience

Thanks I have put a direct link to this forum in there. I am not going to link to rv.net, I suspect they will consider this forum competition, as I am sure they do yours. I am getting a very positive response from RV parks I have contacted so far inviting them to post their vacancies.

Good luck - looks like it is coming along well. Unlike RV.NET we don't consider other sites as rivals - we think we just complement each other!

I am working on a pdf file with the GPS co-ordinates for all RV Parks in Mexico plus some boondocking locations. It is partially done in an excel sheet form & it is constantly being updated. once i get in complete in a month or 2 i will post the pdf link. In the meantime the excel sheet (work in progress) is at http://www.mexicorvforums.com/mexicoGPS.xls

If anyone has the coordinates for some good dry camping spots please send them to me to add.

I also have a pdf file of Mexican road sign translations at http://www.mexicorvforums.com/signs.pdf
