Getting into Town

Unread postby Leonberger2 on Tue Oct 21, 2014 3:39 pm

Hi, I am new to this forum so please be gentle with me.....

Me and my family are going to Canada in July next year and we are renting an RV and going to the usual places, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Jasper, Banff etc but me question is if you cant take an RV, ours will be a 30' one, into the towns how do you get from the RV parks to the towns?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

If you have a 30' RV you should have no problems in most towns in British Columbia.
If you are in Vancouver there is an RV Park right in the city with easy access to rapid transit and tours.
Also Victoria on Vancouver island has a couple RV parks right in the city as well.

If you would like the names of some RV parks in the cities you are going to visit just send me a private message.

My wife and I did a cross canada tour in a 29' motor home and had no problem in all the cities we toured with it. You just have to be careful where you park.

We were out west with our RV in 2008, and we had no issues despite being considerably longer than what you are renting.

You can checkout my blog of the trip at the link below - lots of details and pictures there.
