Picking up the C on Wednesday

Unread postby mikhen on Fri Feb 20, 2009 9:07 pm

Lonely topic but I'll post anyway. Making the upgrade to a C. Heading to the inlaws in Kansas this summer and we don't have the room in the Avalanche for 2 kids, MIL, wife, 2 big dogs, and myself. Not to mention my back can't take it anymore. Getting an 05 Sunseeker, 31' with 1 slide. I'll be busy making upgrades the next few weeks. ;)

Congrats. We considered a C when we were first looking at getting back into RV'ing, but all the extra costs versus a trailer (licence plate stickers, insurance, needing to tow a car behind us) made us think otherwise. We actually rented one a few times and tried it out. Having access to the inside of the RV while on the road was nice (the missus really loved the bathroom-on-demand, hehe) but the rest of it just didn't make sense for us personally.

Great! Bet you can't wait to hit the road. My 2 dogs are adjusting well. They love it. Have a good time getting it ready and have a great trip.

Yeah but you didn't have to worry about whether the Terry would start or not LOL. What are you planning to tow with it?

A Chevy Cobalt for now. Maybe a Tracker or similar in the future.
