Owners Manual

Unread postby Brida Travellers on Thu May 24, 2012 8:00 pm

Seeking an owners manual for our 2001Adventurer 27 foot class C motorhome.
Ours is based on a Ford E450 chassis with the Triton V10 engine. We are new owners and new to RVing and really need a copy of the manual and any other information and advise you think a couple of newbe's could use?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce + Ida

The only thing that I can think of is maybe trying Google it. God knows what you will find

Frank, Thanks for your reply, I have Googled and gone down many
Internet paths but No luck! I think my only chance will be to find someone with
The same rig and get a copy made of his or her manual and pay for
The courtesy. Bruce

For the chasis, try a Ford dealer or even the Ford website.
For the coach, try whatever company makes the Adventurer. You may have to just go to each manufacturer of each component and get many manuals.
Good Luck.

Michen, thanks for your reonse. I did find a manual for the Ford truck that the motorhome is built on.
I have manuals for the fridge and stove . I have had no luck finding an owners manual for the motorhome
Itself The Adventurer motorhome was built by Western Canada RV Mfg. in Abbotsford, B.C. They were bought out and the plant moved to Yakima, Washington. Yes Ihave called both plants and got nowhere there. My only hope is to find someone
with the same rig and beg for a photocopy.
Thanks again, Bruce

I'm sure motorhomes may be different that trailers in regards to manuals, but every trailer I've owned only came with the manuals for each component, that is, a manual for the fridge, hot water tank, furnace, etc; and not the unit as a whole.

Do motorhomes normally come with a 'complete' manual ??

Pwall, Thanks for the reply. Here's an example of a newer version of my mfg. http://www.amlrv.com/contact-manuals.php
You can see it is quite extensive. We really would love to find someone with the same unit as us.
Thanks again,
Bruce

I looked at the website in your link and there are several ways on there to contact the manufacturer. Stupid question, probably, but did you contact them and ask if they have one somewhere?

Edit: I just noticed that you said, in an earlier post ,that you did so, so not sure what else you can try. :(

Just an idea. Many manufacturers have forums, whether they set them up or just some individual does. Perhaps finding a forum of that manufacturer may help.
