Yep there are SEVERAL categories where we're a little short. Not many MH folks either.

Yahoooooo - welcome, Jay! Now start posting away and get this area humming! :)

Now you'll have to add a link to this forum at the top of your webpage, to go with the one for 'the other place' :o

Thanks. I have some in stock and will have more soon.

I'm trying to add a pic that I use at the "Other place" (lol) to my sig, but, can't seem to make it work. I'm using the IMG link, but, it keeps saying it has gone over the character limit. Not sure how it's doing that as it's a standard forum image link.

Edit
Oh well, here's a pic of our rig: Fixed. See below.

Can't wait for the GB V Rally next month. WOOHOO!

Here's a pic from last year's Elk Neck Rally at the Elk Neck State Park in Md. We had such a blast. Fine times and truly fine folk. Maybe some of you here would like to join us this year. It started out as a HTT rally, but, some of our group has already gone over to "The DARK SIDE" and we just call it the Elk Neck Rally now. They got some really nice RVs.

Here's the site

On our way home. Wish it could have gone on longer.

In order to use the photo for a signature photo you will need to go to the "user menu" and add it there. there ARE some size limitations for avitar photos and a character count limitation for signatures that are detailed on that page. Good luck / skip

Former hybrid owner!

Unread postby antiqfreq on Fri Apr 18, 2008 2:46 pm

If ONLY I had found this forum before the end of January, when we sold our hybrid that we had for 4 years.
Our R-vision Trail Cruiser C21RBH served us well but we just wanted something a little bigger.

So we got the diesel, then for the 5'er and whoo-hooo - are we happy!

Another HTT owner here, just joined. We may not have the HTT much longer though - also getting tired of stripping & remaking the bed every time we change campsites, and of making the bed while sitting on it. Otherwise we love our HTT and I will miss it greatly. (Likely to join the TT crowd soon - will keep you posted.) In the meantime, here's a photo (I hope) of our current "baby", with our original tow vehicle. This was taken at Indiana Dunes SP.

Such a short visit! As of today we are officially heading for the "dark side" - put a deposit down this morning on a 33' Flagstaff TT. The more we see of it (3 visits in one week :) ), the more we like it. It's a rear LR model. PDI is scheduled for this next Thursday. We're adding Maxx-Air vents, a Fantastic Fan in the BR, and a slidetopper awning. It already has heated tanks and other amenities - we hope to have some good long extended camping seasons with this one! Dealer gave us a fair price on the trailer (it's an 08 but he's had it on his lot for several months) and what we feel was a good trade-in price for the HTT. Went to the same dealer where we bought the HTT; good guy, honest, and knows relatively much about RVs. Here's a picture of (most of) the trailer - I couldn't back up far enough to get the whole thing in the shot! Oh, and don't worry - we won't attempt to pull it with that Explorer! (We have an 07 Tundra now.)

Hello to All Hybrid Owners,
My name is Wendy and my husband and I bought a 19 foot Terry Dakota Hybrid last spring. We are in love with it and with the whole camping thing. It has been a very long winter and we just can't wait to go camping and we will head out this weekend whether there is snow or no snow. We live in Ontario Canada, up in the Muskoka's.
I think that I am going to love this forum and looking forward to reading all of what you have to say and I love looking at the pictures people post and specially the mods that are being done.
Happy camping to all.

Thank you for the welcome!!! Yes we do live in a great area!!! We have the most amazing lakes, crystal clear and so refreshing. Muskoka is well known for people from all over coming to this vacation land. And yes, we get winter but that is the beauty of this land---4 amazing seasons!!! As you can tell, I love where we live and wouldn't want to live any other place. Now, it would be great if the camping season was just a bit longer. We camp from May till November and I would love to start camping maybe in March if it was warmer, it would give me December, January and February to save up the money to pay for my camping addiction. LOL! Don't you love life!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,
Well we did it, we camped last weekend and it was amazing!!! The nights were cold and the days were cool but we had a great time. When I got to the trailer all I had was a couple of lights and didn't know what was going on, but thankfully we were with friends that have camped with trailers for a long time and he showed us how to change the blow fuses. Can you believe it, we had no idea even what to look for?? Can you tell that we are so new at this?
We are going again next weekend for the long weekend and the following weekend. We do have many weekends planned between now and the summer to camp and next weekend a couple of friends of ours are going to do some mods on my trailer that I want done. Again, I LOVE CAMPING!!!!

Congrats! Glad you had a good time. One mod you are going to want to do is get a couple of those "space blankets". They go over the tent ends and really do a good job of keeping the cold out and cool in, depending on which way you install them. Shinny side out to reflect the sun and dark side out when it's cold. One of the best mods you can do on a HTT! 8-)
